We’ve carefully designed our tea bags with compostability in mind.
- Unbleached fibre-based filter paper
- 100% cotton string
- Paper tags
Following rigorous testing, our tea bags achieved home compostable certification from the Australasian Bioplastics Association*.
And that’s not all. Our tea boxes are also 100% recyclable and made from responsibly sourced materials certified by the Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC®).
One small change that makes a difference
In 2021, we removed the plastic wrapper from our tea boxes and replaced it with a convenient tear feature that helps maintain freshness and quality.
It’s one of the many steps we’re taking to reduce unnecessary packaging while continuing to deliver the tea you know and love.
